Data Journal

This Excel spreadsheet can be used by both teachers and students to keep track of grades on assignments. Students and teachers enter grades on a series of formative assessments. The average of the formative assessments is calculated and can be used to predict the student’s grade on the summative assessment. Students and teachers can also use the data at the end of the unit to address difficulties or gaps in student learning.
