"The website link will take you to a webpage “Genre in the Primary Curriculum”. There are numerous links within the website but on the landing page there is a “Genre Overview” two-page handout (document in repository). The genre overview provides an alternative/in depth categorization of different literary genres found across texts. The handout would best be used with teachers to introduce the social purposes of different types of texts, as well as to identify grammatical features within the types. "
