Dr. Norma Altidor serves as the Director of DEI & Multicultural Affairs for the Florida Panthers. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Miami in the School of Education and Human Development.

A proud Fort Lauderdale native, Norma holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in college student affairs from Nova Southeastern University. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida, where her research focused on the identity development experiences of Haitian college students.

Norma began her professional career in higher education, working in residence life and housing across several universities before transitioning into the professional sports industry. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Special Hockey Association and previously sat on the National Advisory Council for the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity.

Norma’s leadership and contributions have earned her several recognitions, including serving as the MLK Day Keynote Speaker at LaGrange College. She was named one of South Florida Business Journal’s 2024 Diverse Voices and featured in the NHL’s 2025 Celebration of Women in Hockey.

In her free time, Norma enjoys spending quality time with loved ones, reading, watching sports,and traveling.
