Former NFL Safety
Johnathan Cyprien is a former NFL safety and community leader with a career that spans professional sports, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and business. Drafted 33rd overall in the 2013 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars, he became the highest draft pick in Florida International University history. Over his NFL career, Cyprien spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons, and San Francisco 49ers.
Born and raised in North Miami Beach, Cyprien is deeply connected to his community. In 2015, he founded the CypSquad At‑Risk Youth Foundation, which supports underserved youth through football camps, school supply initiatives, mentorship, and community fundraising events. His impact off the field earned him a proclamation and key to the city of North Miami Beach. While with the Titans, he also served as the Youth Football Ambassador for the Music City Bowl, mentoring the next generation of athletes.
Beyond football, Cyprien is the CEO of Inside The Cage, an organization focused on creating Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) and collective opportunities for student‑athletes, with a goal of supporting 1,000 athletes by 2025. He is also a real estate investor, owning and managing properties across Michigan, Jacksonville, and Miami, and has worked in commercial and high‑fashion modeling. Cyprien continues to leverage his platform to empower athletes and young people for success during and beyond their playing careers.
Cyprien graduated in 2012 from the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University (FIU).
