Emily Glass is the Education Coordinator for the Miami Marlins Player Development Department. She grew up in Davis, California and attended Davis Senior High School where she was a four-year Varsity Softball player. She graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, CA with a degree in Public Policy & Politics and a minor in Spanish. She played two years of collegiate softball before returning to the game of baseball recreationally. In 2015, she received a Watson Fellowship to study, play, and coach international baseball in seven (7) countries outside the U.S. After playing in a Men’s baseball league in Australia, coaching Little League in Japan, and interning for Major League Baseball (MLB) in the Dominican Republic, her mission was to build an Educational Program and enhance a Player Development program for a professional baseball team. She is eager and excited to be part of the exceptional team making the Miami Marlins a first-class Championship Organization.
