With more than 25 years of experience in building and executing initiatives for both sports and media properties, Andrew Saltzman joined the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena as Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer in August 2015. In this critical role, Saltzman’s focus is on driving revenue through strategic business development and client service. Saltzman has built, trained, and mentored sales, marketing and operational teams to both increase revenue year over year while also furthering the relationships between season ticket members, corporate partners, broadcast affiliates, and the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club.

Prior to the Hawks, Andrew served as Chief Revenue Officer for the NHFS Network, a joint venture between the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), its member state associations, high school athletic associations and PlayOn! Sports. Saltzman provided scalable national opportunities for customized and fully integrated high school sports marketing campaigns. NFHS efforts combine traditional media, digital, sponsorship, community access, content curation and on-site activation.

Saltzman initially gained acclaim in the sports media world as the President and Co-Founder of Big League Broadcasting and Sports Radio 790 The Zone, one of the highest billing and most recognizable sports radio stations in the country. In this role Saltzman negotiated multi-year broadcast rights agreements with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, Georgia Tech Football and Men’s Basketball and the Chick-fil- A Peach Bowl. Later as a Consultant for NBC Sports Group Andrew created the strategic plan for the new nationally branded radio NBC Sports Radio Network as well as the development of new programming, media platforms and content. Throughout Saltzman’s career, he’s forged and cultivated a varied and robust network of high-level relationships with brands such as State Farm, Coca-Cola, Emory Healthcare, AT&T, Under Armour, Delta Air Lines, Kia Motors, Verizon, UPS, JPMorgan Chase plus many others.

Andrew continues to give back to his local community serving on several boards including the Atlanta Sports Council, YMCA of Metro Atlanta, and the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau. A native of New York City and a graduate of Georgetown University, Andrew currently resides in Atlanta with his wife and has two sons at Indiana University and the University of Miami.
