This is a report based on a study of Missouri public schools in 2010. This report found that greater arts education led to fewer disciplinary infractions and higher attendance, graduation rates and test scores. The Missouri Department of Education and Missouri Alliance for Arts Education compiled this report. They found that arts education had a significant impact on academic and social success of their students. Those students with greater arts participation behaved during class, excelled academically and graduated on time hoping to attend college.
