Removing Bias From Your Program
Unwelcoming academic cultures and structures can negatively impact the recruitment and retention of diverse students, faculty, and staff, and it may influence others to perpetuate discriminatory practices. Understanding and eliminating potential forms of bias in education programs is imperative to creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environments. For this talk, Dr. Harriell will discuss ways to identify and remove bias from higher education programs.
