Biography

Ms. Hernandes is a Master’s degree student from Brazil, where she is studying Experimental Psychology at the intersection of Psychology and Neuropsychology. She has a degree in Psychology from the Federal University of São Paulo, specializing in Neuropsychology at the Albert Einstein Institute and studied Fundamentals of Neuroscience at Harvard. Ingrid is working on Arlette Perry’s project for the psychological and cognitive development of adolescents for the THINK program, working closely with the Educational and Psychological Studies. She focuses on the integration of metabolic health with physical fitness and assists on the content development of the THINK program as part of the SEHD EPIC grant. Ingrid will also assist on the “The Influence of Body Composition on Vascular Health and Cardiac Risk in a Diverse Sample of Post-Menopausal Women” study, investigating vascular health and cardiac risk in a multi-racial study of postmenopausal women. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being in touch with the nature, and reading books about the human mind.
