Abstract

In partnership with Collaborators Consulting Group (CCG) and Allegany Franciscan Ministries Foundation (AFM), this 3-year project (in its second year) seeks to assist AFM in developing a statewide, long-term strategic initiative to address the effect of climate change on communities of color and other historically marginalized communities. Current strategies being launched and evaluated address education and awareness throughout Florida specifically related to the impact of extreme heat on outdoor workers and the issue of climate gentrification and housing.
