Biography

Siyu Ye is originally from China, graduating with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the UW-Milwaukee. She is enrolled in the UM Master's of Public Health program in the Miller School of Medicine. During her undergraduate studies, Siyu volunteered at a local shelter and nursing home, and completed one year of clinical experience as a student nurse. She is assisting Drs. Warner and Avalos with the MDEAT Juvenile Arrest Patterns study. Her post-graduate aspirations are to pursue a career in public health research. When she has free time, she likes to work with her hands on crafts. She also likes to bake, hike, and be physically active.
