Abstract

The Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust (MDEAT) has partnered with CEWRC faculty Todd Warner and Mary Avalos to oversee a review of local youth arrest data. The project includes Master's in Public Health students Diana Mercado and Siyu Ye as Graduate Research Assistants. The goals of the project are to conduct and write a literature review of national trends in juvenile delinquency patterns and evidence-based programs that reduce juvenile delinquency trends, as well as review youth arrest data to understand Miami-Dade County juvenile delinquency patterns.
