Biography

Deborah Perez is from Miami, FL. Prior to enrolling in the Teaching and Learning, Special Education doctoral program at UM, she worked as a community practitioner and educator in the non-profit sector. Deborah has assisted with the AIR Covid-19 and Equity in Education Research Practice Partnership and the Exploring Equity in STEM Education and Community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family/friends, traveling, and attending concerts.
