Biography

Ceewin Louder is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. After two years working as the Director of Outreach and Youth Ministries and one year working as a bookseller after her undergraduate studies, she decided to go back to school for psychology. Ceewin is currently a fourth-year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program and is broadly interested in race-based traumatic stress, emotion, and community-based interventions. In the Challenging Racism and Empowering Communities through Ethnocultural Research (CRECER) lab, she is in her second year as a co-coordinator for the Strong Roots Parenting and Caregiver Program. In her free time, Ceewin enjoys reading fiction, brunching with friends, and watching international soccer.
