Biography

Alexis Franklin is from Memphis, Tennessee. After completing her undergraduate degree, Alexis spent two years learning and researching as a Psychology Intern at George Washington University’s Clinical Psychology clinic and as a Psychology Research Fellow at the National Cancer Institute within the National Institute of Health. She is currently enrolled in the Counseling Psychology program and primary research interest is the mental wellness of Black university students. Alexis joined the CRECER team in 2020 where she has been a co-coordinator for the Kulula Project for the past 3 years. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and creating art.
