Sarah exhibited professionalism and maturity throughout her secondary and elementary school placements. She was always early for school, prepared for her lessons, and capable of pivoting within the lessons in response to the students' questions. She added a personal touch to her teaching, such as asking beginner band students for a joke of the day--like, "Why didn't the teddy bear eat dinner? Because he was stuffed". Her cooperating teacher remarked that Sarah "commands the room,” that "kids respond very positively to her", and that “She is an absolute pleasure to have as an intern and is doing wonderfully.”
