Léi L. Sun is a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Miami and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Florida. She has published scholarly work and delivered presentations at national conferences on psychotherapy efficacy, loss and trauma, therapeutic dynamics, and diversity education. She received the Scholar Award from the Society for Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology and was the Student Chair for the Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy. She is a standing member of the Psychotherapy Action Network, advocating for psychotherapies of depth, insight and relationship, and for mindful implementation of policies in health care systems.
