SEHD Forum Series – School of Education & Human Development

SEHD Forum Series

The School of Education and Human Development (SEHD) prides itself on providing educational opportunities to its South Florida and International Communities. The SEHD Forum Series provides attendees with free exposure to scholars, educational leaders, and community partners as we explore the successes and challenges facing the multi-dimensional field of education.

“We want every child to have a chance to succeed,” said David Lawrence Jr., former Miami Herald publisher and founder of the Children’s Movement of Florida, in an interactive dialogue with Alberto Carvalho, superintendent, Miami-Dade County Public Schools held on February 20, 2019. This was the 1st session in the newly launched School of Education and Human Development’s (SEHD) Forum Series, more than 200 students, teaching interns, faculty, and alumni.
