Samantha Lang received a prestigious CCPTP award!

We at the SEHD are always excited to share with our school’s community the achievement of students, faculty, staff, alumni, supporters, and community partners who do great things. The statement holds true in this case as well. We are happy to share the outstanding news that our very own Samantha Lang was chosen for the Council of Counseling Psychology Training Programs (CCPTP) Award! This is an award given once a year to an outstanding doctoral student by the Council of Counseling Psychology Training Programs. The council is composed of training directors (who would know when a student shines above the rest!). It is a very competitive award. In addition to her many strengths, Samantha’s publication in the American Psychologist and service for The Counseling Psychologist most likely helped set her apart from the rest.

Please join us in congratulating her!
