The Athletic Training program is a graduate professional program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). The program is designed to provide a structured classroom and clinical experience to prepare students to become eligible to sit for the Board of Certification exam. Athletic Trainers are allied healthcare professionals who are an integral part of the healthcare team providing services in critical incident management, therapeutic interventions, examination and clinical diagnosis for a variety of medical conditions. Our program strives to empower students to be successful independent healthcare practitioners to work in a variety of settings including but not limited to sports, hospitals, outpatient clinics, industrial setting, military, and performing arts. The MSAT program provides individualized attention to each graduate student with a low student instructor ratio 3:1, accessible faculty, and diverse clinical experiences.
