In 2019, she joined UVA&#8217;s Office for Sustainability as a Green Athletics Intern to bridge the gap between athletics operations and university sustainability education. Since then, Sadey has played a lead role in developing student-athlete sustainability education at UVA and across the ACC by organizing and marketing monthly sustainability engagement events and mentoring over 30 student-athletes in sustainability leadership.
