That is the core of Dean Laura Kohn-Wood’s mission for the University of Miami’s School of Education and Human Development. Building on the well-laid foundation of integrating educational, psychological, and physical wellbeing into formal education, established by former Dean Isaac Prilleltensky, Kohn-Wood intends to harness the immense talent, research skills, and know-how of her faculty, staff, and students to solve real-life problems.

Confronting Hate in America Today: Lessons from the Holocaust Studies Summer Institute

The University of Miami Libraries rank among the top research libraries in North America with a combined collection of over 3.5 million volumes and access to more than 90,000 electronic and print serials.

Other resources include 656,893 electronic books, and access to more than 1,000 electronic databases.

Dean's Dozen

A group of twelve official student ambassadors who are involved in representing our school in university and general civic community life.

The Dean’s Dozen is a voluntary group of students formed for the purpose of aiding our school in representation and recruitment of students for the University of Miami.
