Secondary Education

Secondary Education (6-12). Certification is offered in several areas.

A major in secondary education is a traditional four-year program. In addition, education students are required to choose a major field of study in the College of Arts and Sciences. These programs enable graduates to pursue career opportunities related to their Arts and Sciences majors as well as those directly related to education.

English/ESOL Endorsement
Mathematics
Sciences (Biology)
Social Science (Economics, Geography, History, International Studies, or Political Science)

Each student should complete a major from the appropriate department in the College of Arts and Sciences and a second major in the Department of Teaching and Learning.
