Teaching and Learning awarded a $6.5million grant for teacher training and research

Supporting Educators’ Academic Literacies and Enhanced Discourse (SEALED) The University of Miami (UM) along with partner Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) propose to work together to support teachers and improve K-12 student learning in schools serving high-needs populations in inclusive, regular, or special education secondary classrooms.

STEM+L Academy

The STEM+L Academy includes a summer camp, fall Saturday meetings, and final presentation. In the process, the research team will provide support in terms of reading, writing, technology training, and mini science lessons related to the theme of environment and human health.
