The University of Miami (UM) School of Education is proud to offer an innovative program for K-6 elementary school teachers who wish to improve their instruction and pursue career goals in instructional leadership. This program is appropriate for teachers working with ethnically and linguistically diverse student populations in grades K to 6 in public or private schools. Depending on the entering teacher’s background, this program can lead to one of two degrees: a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) or a Specialist in Education (Ed.S.).
